Dr. Evan Allan M.D.
Dr. Evan Allan moved to Twin Falls, Idaho when he was just eight years old. He first graduated from Brigham Young University in 2006.
Dr. Evan Allan then graduated from the University of Washington School of Medicine in 2010. He continued further in the field of ophthalmology by doing an extra year of training specializing in glaucoma, specifically minimally invasive glaucoma surgery (MIGS) such as canaloplasty, iStent, Hydrus, XEN, and OMNI. He is a current member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, American Glaucoma Society, and the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery.
He and his wife Jan have 4 boys and he also speaks Russian. Dr. Evan Allan is following the footsteps of his father, Dr. Scott Allan. Dr. Allan specializes in cataract and glaucoma surgery as well as treatment for macular degeneration and diabetic retinopathy. He also performs upper and lower functional eyelid surgery.
