There are many people who are suffering from eye conditions such as glaucoma, macular degeneration, and diabetes. To further help these individuals, there are various laser treatments to help control these eye conditions.

 

Laser trabeculoplasty is helpful in treating people whose glaucoma continues to get worse in spite of medicine treatment. Laser photocoagulation is done to help reduce the risk of vision loss caused by diabetic retinopathy. It is also used to treat wet age-related macular degeneration only. Although these lasers may not restore vision that has already been lost, it may help reduce the risk of future vision loss.
